Prizes, prizes, prizes….
There are lots of ways to win prizes on The Portal!
To start with, the first ten people to have a comment published (longer than 10 words) will win something yummy;
and…each month I will choose a worthy post or comment and award an exciting prize to its author.
For stupendously interesting, erudite or hilarious posts or comments there will be surprising instances of spectacular generosity!
Now before you fall, stunned, off your perch ….check out the rest of the portal —there are promises of rewards in unexpected places!

Not many people like studying.

You have a point though, hopefully people will write for the fun of it, to inspire others, to share opinions on books, to publish their own writing for the world to enjoy…

This is actually the first blog that I have ever decided to put a comment on so I hope that there are more discussions(?) to be involved in.

That reminds me,
I knew this guy who came from america and so every halloween they’d have an apple bobbing competion.
He won the comp about 3 years ago and he got a basket with a set of pens with no ink, a spanner, a laser pointer, a left shoe, a teddy bear and the screen of a laptop.
That i thought was really funny.
Ma,n talk about weird and wonderful prizes!!!
