Noughts & Crosses

THIS IS AN INTENSE BOOK!!!

It is very good, thoes who have read it will agree with me.

it is sad and meaningful i loved every minute it :) .

i thought that it had a good ending and it is good because the world is tipped upside down, Black people in power over the white people. Black people with more rights.

it is very intersesting!

Great Authors of the 20th Century

I like reading some of the classics of the 20th century, though I am yet to find any amazing author of the 21st century. I have read some fantastic books, though I soon find that the author has only written one book. Despite my concern, I’d love it if people were to comment with any REALLY great authors.

Good luck,

Machine Gunners

The Machine Gunners is my current book for Year 8 English text. I like it because it gives you a perspective on how kids had to live in the War days.

DEAR Program

D.E.A.R.

I as a student enjoy the DEAR Program immensly. It helps us relax during the school day after recess or lunch. My friend tnek mot is a keen reader and loves the DEAR program also. He is reading a book on cheese and we have heard rumours that DEAR will be stopped.

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

Upon reading this book I expected that I would be in for another long, boring war book like our class novel ‘The Machine Gunners’. I was pleasantly surprised to find that although this book was set in the 1940s, it portrayed elements of modern lifestyle and was also very enjoyable due to the fact that it didn’t overly describe the war as most war novels do.

The plot is displayed through the eyes of a young German boy named Bruno. In doing this it gives mystery due to bruno’s misunderstand of what is happen and makes the book easy to read and enjoyable.

I would recommend this book to people who find war books on the boring side.

The hobbit (calvinco- the answer to life)

This book is simply one of a kind! I love every second of its wonderfull, exhilarating, fantasy pages. i often rethink about the “holy book” as i have come think of it, as the answer to a plain and boring life. With this book no dwell of sallow feelings have i felt.  Instead of a fantastic book full of plot storyline and “moving” character development but as a resource, a resource to me, to the way i think, look and live my life!

I know now not to think of jesus as a human like figure with great long silver curles but as a small hobbit with hairlly little feet, not disgusting feet but beautiful and southing in the way each single hair falls apon the hair next to itself, its soo evenly balenced and exquisitely pure.

Thanks for reading my comment it means alot to me and it should mean alot to you to. Think about it guys its more than just a book…Much, much more………
